I said YES, what happens now?

We want you to have all the information you need in one place because, let’s be honest, you lovely brides have enough running around to do!

As you know, all of our dresses are made to order, and very soon, we will be placing your order with our amazing designers. Below, you will find answers to some of our most frequently asked questions along with top tips to help everything run smoothly until your big day.

Once your beautiful gown arrives with us, we’ll carefully check, steam, and prepare it for you. At that point, we will be super excited to get in touch and arrange your collection appointment—so you can take your dream dress home, ready for your I do.

 

Fittings & Alterations.

Below are the details for our recommended seamstress, Fran. She is incredibly talented and brings extensive experience in the bridal industry. Please note that you’ll need to book your appointment directly with Fran, as she has her own studio and scheduling.

What if I think I want a veil?

Curious if you can add a veil to your look? You're definitely not alone and the answer is of course, YES. 

We stock a range of veils from Richard Designs which are all handmade to order in the UK with an estimated lead time of 4-5 weeks. All of our veils can be made in a variety of colours, lengths and tiers to suit you for your dream day.

Aurelle Attire was born right in the fitting rooms where you have chosen your perfect dress. Our designs started as custom requests from real brides - that's you! - who couldn’t find exactly what they wanted. How will my dress arrive?

Once your dress arrives at the boutique, we’ll carefully steam and prepare it, placing it in a breathable garment bag on a hanger. For the best care, we recommend hanging your dress high and away from heat sources, though it can also be laid flat if necessary.

If you’re traveling abroad for your wedding, it’s a good idea to check with your airline beforehand to understand their policies for transporting your gown.

 

Dress Cleaning.

One of the biggest questions we hear from brides is…
“But what if my dress gets dirty?"

Our answer? It probably will… and that’s okay.

Your wedding dress is made to be lived in, laughed in, danced in, and celebrated in. A little mark here or there is just a sign of a day well-loved. When it’s time for a refresh, we always recommend the wonderful Wedding Gown Cleaning Company in Liverpool — they’re true magicians when it comes to restoring gowns to their glory.

Our usual opening hours are:
Wednesday – Saturday: 9:30 am – 5:30 pm
Sunday: 10:00 am – 3:30 pm

From time to time, we may be closed for buying trips, wedding fayres, or special events – all part of bringing you the very best from the bridal world.

If you contact us outside of these hours, we will respond at the earliest opportunity. As we’re often celebrating “yes” moments with our brides and unable to answer the phone, our preferred contact methods are via social media or email at info@aurellebridal.co.uk.
