FAQ'S
Your Questions, Answered with Love
At Aurelle Bridal, we want your wedding dress experience to be as memorable and stress-free as possible. Below are some of the most frequently asked questions from our lovely brides-to-be. If you have any other queries, don’t hesitate to get in touch!

Do I need to book an appointment?
Yes, please! We want to give you and your party the best possible experience, so we recommend booking an appointment. This way, you’ll have the entire boutique to yourselves, and our team can dedicate all their attention to helping you find the perfect dress — no pressure, just fun!
What is your price range?
Our dresses range from £895 to £2750 for special orders, with most gowns falling between £1500 and £1900.
If you're on a tighter budget, we also have a gorgeous selection of off-the-peg styles available at discounted prices. You can browse them anytime in our Sample Sale Lounge perfect for brides looking for a beautiful designer gown without the wait.
If you’d like some guidance or want to check availability, just give us a shout at info@aurellebridal.co.uk and we’ll happily help you explore your options!
What sizes are your samples?
Our made-to-order gowns from the incredible designers Evie Young, Maggie Sottero, and Sottero & Midgley & more are available in sizes US 0–28 as standard!
Our store samples range from US 6–26, but don’t worry if your dream dress isn’t in your exact size on the rail most gowns clip, zip, or lace up most of the way. Our team will be with you every step of the way to ensure you feel comfortable, confident, and absolutely radiant while trying on your gowns.
If there’s a specific store sample you’re dreaming of trying but it’s not available in your size, please get in touch before your appointment. We’ll do our best to have it here for you, subject to availability*
Every bride deserves to feel beautiful, supported, and completely herself in her dream dress and we’re here to make sure that happens!
What should I wear to my appointment?
We recommend wearing neutral underwear so you can get the best fit and feel of each dress. Strapless bras are optional, as many gowns have built-in support, but always do what feels comfortable.
Minimal make-up & self tanner is best to help protect our sample gowns and allow you (and us) to focus on the dress. It’s easiest to wear something that’s simple to slip out of, but also something you feel good in — after all, you need to celebrate after your appointment!
I’m feeling a little nervous about finding my dress — what should I expect?
Don’t worry — we totally understand and we've seen it before! Nerves are completely normal and we promise they start to melt away after your first couple of dresses. Take a deep breath, relax, and let yourself enjoy the moment. Our appointments are relaxed, fun, and all about you.
Make sure you feel prepared and confident before your appointment so you can fully enjoy trying on your dream dress. If you have questions before your appointment, we’re just an email or phone call away (which you can request upon booking your appointment online too!)
How many people can I bring with me to my appointment?
We suggest bringing 2–3 people who really “get you.” Our boutique seats 3–4 guests comfortably but we will of course always do our best to accommodate your bridal party. Having a few voices you trust makes the experience intimate and supportive.
Top tip: everyone’s idea of the “perfect dress” is totally different! Before your appointment, have a little chat with your guests about how you want to feel on the day, dreamy and whimsical, classic and traditional, or sleek and modern? This way, we’re all on the same page and ready to make you feel absolutely amazing when you say “yes.”
How long will my dress take to arrive?
Typically, bridal dresses take around 16–30 weeks to arrive, depending on the designer and style. That’s why we always suggest starting your search 12–18 months before your wedding.
If you’re in a time crunch, ask us about rush orders — some styles can be obtained more quickly, depending on designer availability.
I love a dress from one of your designers, but it’s not available to try on in-store!
No problem! We partner with designers like Maggie Sottero, Evie Young Bridal, and Sottero & Midgley — many of which offer sample loan services. That means we can request a gown specifically for you to try, even if it’s not normally in our stock.
There’s usually a small fee for sample loan requests, but the best part is: if you say “yes” to that dress, the fee is deductible from your special order. We always do our best to make your dream gown accessible.
I haven’t booked my wedding date yet — can I still shop?
Absolutely! At Aurelle Bridal, we’re not a “no” boutique. If you’re feeling excited and ready to fall in love with a dress (because you will!), we’d love to welcome you in. 💛
That said, for our made-to-order gowns, having a set wedding timeframe is really important. It allows us to give you the most accurate information on production and arrival dates, and ensures your dream dress will be ready when you need it.
